If the person is conscious, continue to check the person in the position they are found and keep them calm.
Do not move the victim unless the scene is not safe or becomes unsafe; or you must move the victim in order to provide proper first aid care; or you have to reach a more seriously injured person.
If the person is unresponsive or not breathing normally and only gasping, begin CPR compressions and get an AED as quickly as possible. | | |
